With the financial crisis hitting the world so bad, not a single area was left at ease. Whichever field you look at you would find that the companies all reporting huge losses and at times even declaring the bankruptcy. This is the story all over the place, wherever you look at you would find one or the other company suffering and this is what the financial crisis has created in the world. Every area has been badly affected and so is the field of telecommunication. The present day scenario has shown such results that the field of telecommunication that was known to be a booming field and has been only on the increasing side. Thanks to the financial crisis the year 2008 held the growth of telecom industry backward. Each year we found that the industry was developing with more and more money flowing in for its development from all corners of the world. Wondering what makes us suggest that even the telecommunication field is suffering from the financial crisis? 3rd quarter results from the telecommunication field. We agree when it came to selling of handsets there were more that 45 million sales. But when you think that the loss was nearly 8%, means that the demand for the handsets went down. The worst thing was that in the past 10 years not even a single company's sales never went down and this is where we got to know that there has been a problem due to financial crisis. Every company that makes products related to telecom has been badly hit whatever company you can think off. Though there the 3rd quarter results do show an improvement on the results over the 2nd quarter of the year, which does give a positive sign on the future of the telecommunication industry but then all the honchos of the industry believe that it would take some time before it settles. The results may take quite sometime to steady and again have a smooth increasing rate. The financial crisis has badly hit the sector and the sector that few years ago seemed impossible to be hit has been badly hit, though there are results that give a feeling that things are about to improve. According to some of the economists, the financial crisis might take a long time to recover completely but if you are thinking of industries that would be the first to recover consider telecom to be one. |
